Oregon Inclusive Volunteerism Collaborative
The Oregon Inclusive Volunteerism Collaborative operates with five main goals:
Goal One: To create a strategic planning group with the purpose of increasing inclusive volunteer opportunities in Oregon.
Goal Two: To develop and implement strategies which will increase the successful inclusion of individuals with disabilities in National Service projects in Oregon.
Goal Three: To recognize inherent partnerships which attract increased resources for inclusive volunteerism, which will lead to employment.
Goal Four: To increase awareness of reciprocal resources, benefits and opportunities available for Oregon Volunteers, national service and disability organizations in Oregon.
Goal Five: To provide ongoing input and guidance to Oregon Volunteers regarding outreach and support which lead to full inclusion and meaningful experiences for people with disabilities in volunteerism and national service.
